Dear customers and friends,
We hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday season. Christmas is always our favorite time at Countryberries. We love visiting with our old friends and making new ones.
It is with heavy hearts that we have made a difficult decision. After thirty- three years, Bruce and I have decided that we must close our shop. The fire in 2021 destroyed the beautiful building that we had designed and built. It was the perfect home for our traditional decor and folk art. We decided not to rebuild because of our ages, health and the uncertainty of the covid crisis. We both have found it difficult to give the energy and time that the shop requires.
We started our closing sale on Thursday, December 26th. As of Sunday, January 12th the shop will be open by appointment only. We will post product and sale updates on the Countryberries Facebook page and in our emails.

and American Express accepted.
Checks may be accepted from NH residents
with drivers license and NH bank accounts
So what happens next? We may update our website and online shopping. We’ll probably have a few yard sales in the spring and maybe do a few antique, vintage or craft shows. Maybe we’ll do some custom paintings. There are lots and lots of unfinished projects to do. Most importantly, there are lots of memories to make with our children and grandchildren.
We want you to know that this decision has been a very difficult one. We’ll miss the shop and all the beautiful friends that we have made along the way. We’d like to send a very big thank you to everyone who made this journey possible- our family, friends, employees, sales reps, vendors, craftsmen and customers.
